Ohio State ‘probably’ going to start true freshman Michael Jordan

While NBA star Michael Jordan is set to be the Michigan Wolverines’ honorary captain for the team’s 2016 season-opener, another Michael Jordan could be on the field and suited up for the Big Ten rival Ohio State Buckeyes.

During Big Ten Media Days on Tuesday, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer discussed the outlook of his team when he said Jordan, a four-star recruit, could start for the team as a true freshman.

The belief is Jordan would begin his career in Columbus as a guard, which is where he lined up with the No. 1 unit during spring ball.

If Jordan does get to start from Day 1, his first game will be on Sept. 3 against Bowling Green.
