Another Big Ten Media Days press conference, another head coach denying negatively recruiting against the Penn State Nittany Lions. The latest coach to deny the claims is Ohio State’s Urban Meyer.
Penn State coach James Franklin made some waves when he discussed teams in the Big Ten negatively recruiting against his program, citing the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal and serious NCAA sanctions that followed.
Earlier in the day, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio denied any wrongdoing and now Meyer is doing much of the same.
When Meyer was asked about negatively recruiting, he denied doing so and even went as far as to say he would have a discussion with Franklin if those comments were actually made.
Urban Meyer asked abt #PennState's negative allegations: Absolutely not. That's the 1st I've heard that. I will address that w Coach Franklin

That should be a fun conversation to see.
And when it really comes down to it on the recruiting trail, you do anything you can to get an edge. Just ask Jim Harbaugh and his dozens of satellite camps.
