To say that the UNLV Rebels haven’t had a lot of success on the gridiron would be an understatement as they have only been to a bowl game four times in their 47-year history. However, they are looking to turn things around this year and they know it starts in the weight room.
In just his second season as a college football coach, Tony Sanchez is looking to lead the Rebels to success and to do that, they must hit the weight room hard.
On Tuesday, they showed just how hard they have been hitting the weights with an amazing video showing off their intensity in the weight room.

Yeah, that is how you celebrate a good lift, but let’s hope they get to celebrate good plays on the football field this year. The team hasn’t been to a bowl since 2014 and hasn’t won one since 2000, so there is certainly something to take away from their excitement in the weight room.
UNLV opens the 2016 season on Sept. 1 when they face off against Jackson State.
