Former Wisconsin commit Marvin Robinson joins Kentucky

Former three-star wide receiver recruit Marvin Robinson initially committed to the Wisconsin Badgers. However, the Fort Lauderdale standout failed to academically qualify for the university and was forced to sit out the entire 2015 season.

After sitting out a year, Robinson is now set to begin his college career but it will be closer to home.

According to John Hale of the Louisville Courier-Journal, Robinson is set to join the Kentucky Wildcats as a walk-on. Robinson is eligible to play immediately.

It still may take some time for Robinson to get acclimated to the SEC — especially since he is joining the toughest conference in the nation — but it’s great to see he put in the work to become eligible and finally get back on track towards accomplishing his dream.
