Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos has another special talent besides playing football.
Dorenbos has spent 13 years in the NFL, spending his last 10 seasons in Philadelphia, but since he was 12 years old, he has managed to find the time to master another skill: Magic.
On June 21st, Dorenbos appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent to perform magic in the first round of auditions. He stepped off the stage and performed a series of card tricks at the judges panel where they were not only blown away by his act, but were charmed by his personality and character, giving him four ‘yes’ votes allowing him to advance to the quarterfinals.
In the second round, Dorenbos took his act to the next level where he earned the Golden Buzzer from guest judge and singer, Ne-Yo, which automatically puts him through to the live shows.

On Tuesday, Dorenbos, 36, was one of the 12 acts who performed on the first set of live shows. Of the 12 acts, only 7 would advance and it was up to America to decide who would stay in the competition. So Dorenbos needed to impress the judges and America again, and he did just that by delivering another masterpiece that left viewers guessing in amazement.

On the results show last night, Dorenbos was among the seven advancing to the semifinals based on America’s voting. It will be a while before we seen Dorenbos perform again as we wait to see who will join him in the semifinals, but until then, the two time pro-bowler will be busy at Eagles training camp preparing for his 14th NFL season.
