The Cincinnati Bearcats have a group of three quarterbacks that could certainly make an impact for the team going into the 2016 season. It looks like Hayden Moore, a true sophomore that played in eight games and started two in 2015, is in the lead to win the starting job this year.
Tome Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquirer reported that head coach Tommy Tuberville has placed Moore at the top of the depth chart. True freshman Ross Trail is in the second spot while fifth-year senior Gunner Kiel, the starter the last two years, being the third-string guy right now.

Kiel has played in 23 games for the Bearcats over the last two seasons, throwing for over 6,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. He should have been the favorite for his final year of eligibility, but he was sent home earlier this year for undisclosed reasons that were dealt with internally.
Now, it seems like it is Hayden Moore’s job to lose. He played a key role for the Bearcats in 2015, especially after Kiel went down with a concussion, as he threw for just under 1,900 yards and nine touchdowns in eight games.
The Bearcats open the season on Sept. 1 when they host UT-Martin.
