When it comes to the game of quarterback recruiting, Ohio State seems to always be on top.
On Friday, four-star quarterback Emory Jones announced his much anticipated commitment to the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-1, 193 pounder currently ranks N0. 3 on the list of top dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation, and N0. 34 overall in the class of 2018.
Frequently we see players announce their commitments through a simple Twitter post, but Jones’ was slightly different. The young signal-caller announced his decision to become a Buckeye with a video for Bleacher Report.
In his decision to join the Ohio State roster, he passed up Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson and numerous other prestigious programs.
Will 2018's No. 3 Dual-Threat QB Emory Jones be a Tiger, Vol, Bulldog or Buckeye?https://t.co/RzzT1zLQ0m

Ohio State is just getting started with their 2018 recruiting class, and it’s obvious that it will be a strong one. Jones is just their second commit in addition to four-star running back Brian Snead.
Time will tell if it will match the power of Urban Meyer’s 2017 class, which included four-star quarterbacks Danny Clark and Tate Martell.
It’s safe to say that the Buckeyes will be sitting pretty at the quarterback position for many years to come.
