The New Orleans Saints seem like they have reason to be excited going into the 2016 season as they already seem to have a talented group of players in their rookie class. Wide receiver Michael Thomas seems to be making a big impact already and he showed off his skills during the team’s training camp on Friday.
Thomas, a former Ohio State Buckeye that was drafted in the second round by the Saints, showed off why he was considered a top pick at the position going into the draft earlier this year. NOLA.com’s Amos Morale III shared a video of him making an impressive diving one-handed catch on Friday.

That was pretty impressive for the rookie receiver who looks to make a big impact alongside third-year veteran Brandin Cooks. It looks like the Buckeyes are already making good on their potential for the NFL after Vonn Bell, also drafted by the Saints, intercepted quarterback Drew Brees earlier this week.
During his career in Columbus, Michael Thomas recorded 1,602 yards and 18 touchdowns, most of which came over the last two years.
