It has been a great season of golf this year and on Sunday, the fourth and final major tournament wrapped up as Jimmy Walker claimed the PGA Championship. It was an unprecedented day for the sport as Walker became the fourth first-time winner of a major title.
Walker held a slim one-stroke lead over defending PGA Championship winner Jason Day going into Sunday’s final. The two battled all the way to the final hole, where Walker sunk a par putt to solidify his three-under fourth round to claim the trophy.

This is Jimmy Walker’s sixth total win on the PGA Tour and his first since holding off Jordan Spieth to win the Valero Texas Open last March. The golf season is getting ready to wrap up over the next few months, so it should be exciting to see how Walker and the rest of the world finishes their run.
