Michigan fans went crazy buying new Wolverines Jordan gear

Monday morning, the Michigan Wolverines officially made the switch from adidas to Nike and it will stay that way for the next 11 years. It looks like Wolverines fans are already embracing the change after they went over-the-top buying the new gear when it went on sale at stores across Ann Arbor.

The school held a special ceremony at The M Den, the on-campus merchandise store, where head coach Jim Harbaugh sang “Hail to the Victors” before fans were allowed in to start buying the uniforms.

The store’s website actually crashed because of the high demand last night.

It was even reported that the average amount spent on gear at the store was around $300.

I knew football was a big thing in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but Harbaugh has made it a way of life. The Wolverines are expected to be a big contender going into the 2016 season.

It is hard to say they wouldn’t have the fans in tow for every home game this year. The Wolverines opens the 2016 season on Sept. 3 when they host the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
