2017 recruit Peyton Glavine commits to Auburn

The Auburn Tigers missed the NCAA baseball tournament this season after making it for the first time in five years in 2015. They look to be much improved in the 2017 season as Peyton Glavine, son of Atlanta Braves legend Tom Glavine, committed to the team on Monday.

Glavine is one of the better players for the 2017 class and he should end up being a big piece for the Tigers over the next few seasons.

The left-handed pitcher from Alpharetta, Georgia should make an impact for Auburn soon.

In his 17-year career with the Braves, Tom Glavine was an eight-time All-Star selection and helped them win the World Series in 1995. He was also a two-time Cy Young Award winner and will likely be enshrined in Cooperstown some day.

I am sure the Auburn Tigers hope Peyton Glavine takes after his dad on the mound pretty quickly.
