Williams-Brice Stadium damaged in storm

The South Carolina Gamecocks certainly can’t afford to go through any more storm damage after the bad luck they had during the 2015 season. However, it looks like Williams-Brice Stadium was damaged during a thunderstorm Monday night.

At some point during the night, lightning seemed to strike the stadium and it could have damaged their lighted sign in front. It also seemed to knock most of the lights inside the stadium.

Luckily for the Gamecocks, there is still about a month before the start of the 2016 season. South Carolina actually won’t host a game in Williams-Brice Stadium until Sept. 17 when they face off against East Carolina.
