Four-star CB Lamont Wade offended by Michigan during recruiting

Lamont Wade, a four-star cornerback recruit from Clairton High School near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is not too pleased with the Michigan Wolverines and their recruiting process.

On Wednesday, Wade opened up about a perceived snub from Michigan recruiters that has led to him looking at options other than his “dream school.”

Wade expressed his displeasure on Twitter.

Yikes.

It’s not often that a recruit so openly bashes a major school’s recruiting efforts, but you can’t fault the kid for saying how he truly feels. And this has to be music to the ears of other programs in the mix for his services.

According to 247 Sports, Wade is the No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 8 cornerback in the Class of 2017.

Wade holds offers from a number of top programs like the Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee Volunteers, but he is currently projected to remain in state with the Penn State Nittany Lions.
