That noise you hear is Auburn Tigers fans eagerly scouring the web to see if they have landed a big name quarterback. On Wednesday, former Baylor signal-caller Jarrett Stidham created some waves when he was spotted at Auburn’s practice.
According to observers, the former four-star recruit was standing next to Tigers head coach Gus Malzahn in his street clothes.
Not only was Stidham in attendance, he was reportedly going over the pay sheet with Malzahn.
Auburn beat writer Matthew Stevens shared the news.
Last season as a true freshman, Stidham threw for 1,265 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Whenever the former four-star prospect chooses his new home, he will have three years of eligibility and a redshirt remaining. It’s going to be interesting to see where he ultimately ends up.
