Early Thursday morning, it was reported that Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Torrey Green had been named in to separate rape investigations after women reported he had assaulted them during his time at Utah State. Now, that has led to him being dumped off the Falcons’ roster before his career even began.
TMZ first reported two women reported to police that Green had raped them while he was playing football with the Aggies. He has not been arrested in the investigations yet, but ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reported that the team had waived the rookie, making it seem like the allegations are being taken very serious.

Torrey Green signed as an undrafted free agent following the draft in April. This came after he recorded 21 tackles for loss and seven sacks in three seasons at Utah State.
He was expected to compete for a starting role for the Falcons this year, but now, he is just hoping to win a roster spot elsewhere, if he can avoid jail time.
