Wayne Gallman cuts down to 7 percent body fat

The Clemson Tigers have a very special player in running back Wayne Gallman and it looks like he will be a huge impact player for them this year. He has been hard at work adding muscle and cutting down fat this offseason and it has paid off for him this year.

Aaron Brenner of The Post and Courier reported that Gallman has taken to the field with the Tigers for training camp weighing 210 pounds with just seven percent body fat. That is pretty impressive for a running back that is over six feet tall.

The Clemson Tigers want Gallman to have a huge year and the offensive line has even said they would love to get him to the 2,000-yard mark during the 2016 season.

This would once again set the Tigers’ single-season rushing record, which he did in 2015 with 1,514 yards and 13 touchdowns. If the offensive line is able to help him to that, it will be hard to say that Clemson wouldn’t be playing for a national championship again.

The Tigers open the season on the road against Auburn on Sept. 3.
