The Arizona Wildcats received some sad news Monday morning when it was announced that senior offensive lineman Zach Hemmila had passed away in his sleep. It was a tough bit of news for the team when head coach Rich Rodriguez made the announcement.
Anthony Gimino of tucsonnewsnow.com reported the sad news saying that Rodriguez and athletic director Greg Byrne made the announcement to the team with tears in their eyes.

There have been no details of exactly what happened to Hemilla other than that he passed away in his sleep. It certainly comes as a shock to the Wildcats and the rest of the country.
Hemilla came to Arizona in 2012 and became a big part of their offensive line in 2015. He played in all 13 games and started six. He started the first five games of the season at left guard.
Campus Sports would like to send their condolences to the Hemmila family and the Wildcats.
