Cordell Broadus leaves UCLA football team again

Around this time last year, it was reported that Cordell Broadus, son of rapper Snoop Dogg, had decided to quit the UCLA football team to pursue his own path of film making. After a season away from the sport, he rejoined the team in March, but now it looks like he has once again changed his mind.

Thuc Nhi Nguyen of the Los Angeles Daily News reported that Broadus, who was considered to be one of the top wide receivers in the country for the 2015 recruiting class, was not at Monday’s practice and was also not listed on the Bruins’ official roster.

TMZ Sports later reported that school officials had confirmed Broadus was no longer on the team. This has certainly turned into a very odd situation that I am sure many people are going to grow tired of hearing about.

When he signed with the Bruins, Cordell Broadus was a four-star recruit out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the No. 26 wide receiver in the country and the No. 2 player in the state of Nevada.
