If college football is going to impact your vote this coming election, it looks like Tim Kaine could be the people’s choice for Vice President of the United States.
Kaine took to social media on Tuesday to share his thoughts on the “Border War” rivalry that will excite Missouri and Kansas fans.
“When he’s the vice president he can finally melt the ice between the Jayhawks and Tigers and have them willing to play us again,” said Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, via the Kansas City Star.
Kaine later responded that he will broker a deal to get the two teams facing off again on the gridiron.
Yes, this Kansas-raised, Mizzou-educated VP candidate will broker a deal to reinstate the Border War! https://t.co/Wd0fpMFbro

The two teams have not played since 2012 when Missouri left the Big 12 for the SEC.
Sure, Kaine will have some much bigger issues on his plate if he and Hillary Clinton are elected into office, but it’s nice to see the vice presidential candidate has the best interest in sports fans at heart.
And hey, at least he’s not trying to build a wall.
