Video: JJ Watt struggles through training in firefighter gear

|

It seems like there is nothing Houston Texans defensive star J.J. Watt can’t do.

However, in a recent Gatorade Beat the Heat video, we got to see a bit of vulnerability from the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year as he struggled through a workout in full firefighter gear.

“To me, there’s no comparison (between football and firefighting). We get headlines, and we’re playing a game,” Watt said in the video.

“These guys don’t get the headlines, but they’re the ones who save lives.”

It didn’t take long for Watt to begin wearing down as the firefighters watched on. It’s safe to say J.J. Watt won’t be trading in the football pads for firefighter gear anytime soon.
