Nebraska football: 5 things to watch in 2016

Despite going 6-7 in 2015, the Nebraska Cornhuskers were much better than their record showed. They are looking to improve off of what they did last year, including a win in the Foster Farms Bowl over UCLA, and they can certainly make a lot of noise in the Big Ten.

On the offensive side of the ball, they have a ton of talent, including three-year starting quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr.

Their rushing attack should be headed by three different players, while Jordan Westerkamp, Alonzo Moore and Brandon Reilly all seem capable of leading the receiving corps.

Defensively, the Huskers have a deep group of linebackers, including seniors Michael Rose-Ivey and Josh Banderas. Their secondary is young, but they returning top leading tacklers Nate Gerry and Joshua Kalu.
