The Nebraska Cornhuskers continue to honor the memory of punter Sam Foltz, who was tragically killed in a car accident earlier this summer alongside former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler.
Nebraska has already dedicated the season to Foltz, created a special “SF27” decal to wear during the 2016 college football season and even named a scholarship in his honor, but now they will remember his enthusiasm and spirit on the practice field each and every day.
Kenny Wilhite, Director of High School Relations for Nebraska Football, shared a photo of the latest honor on Twitter.

Foltz was a very influential member of the Nebraska community and it is great to see that his teammates will be carrying his memory on the field with them during what would have been his senior season.
Nebraska opens its 2016 campaign on Sept. 3 against Fresno State.
