2017 five-star PG Quade Green drops top 9

One of the top point guard prospects in the Class of 2017 is one step closer to choosing his collegiate home. Late Friday night, five-star recruit Quade Green of Neumann Goretti in Philadelphia dropped his top nine list.

The final nine schools in contention for the No. 4 point guard in his class are, in alphabetical order, Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Syracuse, Temple, Villanova and Xavier.

Earlier this summer, Green had announced his top 13 schools.

The four schools that did not make the cut were and Georgetown, Maryland, Seton Hall and Virginia.

Green made his announcement on Twitter.

While it would be nice to see Green stay close to home to play for a team like the reigning national champion Villanova Wildcats or even Temple, it is currently Mike Krzyzewski and the Duke Blue Devils that are projected to land the five-star talent, according to the 247 Sports Crystal Ball Projection.
