South Alabama didn’t have to wait until the season to energize its football team.
This week, Jaguars head coach Joey Jones called the team together for a special meeting. While everyone was gathered together, Jones broke the news that two walk-on members of the team — sophomore wide receiver Sam Harris and junior safety T’Qwan Robinson — were walk-ons no more.
Because of their hard work and dedication to the program, the two men are now on full scholarship at South Alabama.
The Jaguars shared the news with a heart-warming video that shows the team’s incredible reaction as they swarmed Harris and Robinson to celebrate.
