Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham traded to Eagles

Dorial Green-Beckham has fallen out of favor with the Tennessee Titans. This led to the team making the decision to trade the former Missouri Tiger to the Phildalphia Eagles on Tuesday.

According to NFL.com’s Conor Orr, the Titans received offensive guard Dennis Kelly in return. This is a big get for both the teams and the Titans feel confident in Kelly joining their depth chart.

“Not to speak on Philly’s behalf but they inquired about it,” Titans general manager Jon Robinson said. “They thought it was a good opportunity for him, and we thought adding Dennis would be good for our football team. We are moving on. I appreciate everything Dorial did when he was here. He bought in to what we were trying to do. But in the end we felt like this was the best decision for the team.”

Green-Beckham was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft and went for 549 yards and four scores last season. That is something to build off of, but there have been reports that the team has had a problem with his dedication and work ethic.

Now it seems he will look to help out the Eagles, who need assistance for Jordan Matthews. Their 2015 first-round pick Nelson Agholor essentially floundered last year, recording only 283 yards and a touchdown.
