The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are looking to make a big step towards to competing in the Big Ten as Chris Ash takes over the program this year. They may not be one of the biggest competitors in the conference, but they will at least look good for one game this year.
Ash shared a video on Twitter Tuesday that shows off the team’s new “Dark Knight” uniforms that are all black with an amazing black helmet. It is certainly intimidating and is appropriate for the Scarlet Knight moniker.

Those are certainly pretty awesome and should look really good, especially if the team wears them under the lights this year. There are no details on when the team will wear the alternate look.
Rutgers opens the season on Sept. 3 against Washington.
