Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is a very enthusiastic and energetic guy. On Monday, that passion and intensity was on full display as Harbaugh was asked about a few players being absent from practice earlier in the day.
Harbaugh said two of the players were suspended, but the reporter continued to press, asking which two were suspended and how long the suspensions were for.
An irritated Harbaugh snapped at the reporter, explaining why he doesn’t give the person any information, before he walked out of the press conference.
“That’s why I don’t give you any information, because you’re never satisfied,” Harbaugh said. “You want a second question, a third question, a fourth question. I just said we’d handle it internally.”
For what it is worth, the three players absent from practice were 2016 running back Kareem Walker, wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell and defensive lineman Shelton Johnson. It was reported by the Detroit Free Press that Walker was not suspended, leaving the other two as the players off the team for now.
I guess reporters will learn what to and not to ask coaches.
