The Michigan State Spartans took a trip to Lake Michigan recently for the annual Summer Beach Challenge. Led by strength and conditioning coach Todd Moyer, the Spartans hit the shores of the beach for an intense and grueling workout.
TheOnlyColors.com shared some details on the unique session.
MSU’s “summer beach challenge” splits the squad into two teams competing in eight events. Players roll over the sand, sprint 50 yards, carry each other, pull heavy weights, flip tires, compete in a tug of war and more before it’s all over.
Sounds pretty wild, right?
