The Georgetown Hoyas are set to lose a former top 100 recruit.
On Thursday, the university announced junior forward Paul White is set to transfer from the program. The university announced the news with a very brief statement.
Georgetown University rising junior men’s basketball player Paul White (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young) will transfer to another institution.
White averaged 18.4 minutes per game as a freshman, before injuries hampered his sophomore campaign.
Last season, White appeared in just seven games before a season-ending hip injury while averaging 1.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. In two years at Georgetown, White averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 40 career games.
Now, White will look for a new home to finish out his career.
There is no word on where White could land, but if he considers some of the schools who offered him coming out of high school, UConn, Arizona, Florida, Ohio State, Wisconsin and many others could be in the mix.
