A few weeks ago, it was reported that former Florida Gators and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow was working towards trying out for a spot on an MLB roster.
We now know the details of when all 30 teams will be gathering to get a look at the former Nease High School baseball star.
Joel Sherman of the New York Post reported that Tebow will be hosting a tryout in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Aug. 30. All teams in the league are invited to and will attend, but it is, unfortunately, closed to the public.

Earlier this month, a video of Tebow at batting practice surfaced and he certainly seemed to have his swing down and ready for the big leagues. You be the judge.
Tebow in the cage. Judge for yourself. You tell me if that swing gets past AA. pic.twitter.com/7Ij0pfK5cv

He even has the support of former player and current MLB analyst Gary Sheffield.
I spent time w @TimTebow in the cages recently, he's a NATURAL. I absolutley believe in his ability to play in the bigs. Tim has IT #focused

Duing his time at Nease High School, Tebow was believed to be a possible MLB draft pick had he not pursued a career in football.
