The Dallas Cowboys faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in a preseason game Thursday night and they took a trip over to the West Coast for the match-up. It seemed running back Ezekiel Elliott had some free time ahead of the game and took a tour of the city and found himself in a marijuana shop.
One fan was filming in marijuana shop “Herban Legend” and he seemed to scan over the crowd and see the Cowboys rookie browsing around the store. TMZ obtained the video and shared it to their website.
It was later reported that Elliott was not shy about touring the shop, even posing for pictures outside the store itself. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was reportedly “troubled” by the video and it seems they will have a talk with him.
“Well, I think that, in and of itself, the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process, but it’s not good,” Jones said. “It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”
The NFL takes substance abuse, including marijuana use, pretty seriously as they have suspended multiple players this year for testing positive for it. The Cowboys certainly can’t afford to lose a big player like Ezekiel Elliott this year.
