On Saturday night in Australia, the California Golden Bears received an impressive performance from Texas Tech Texas Tech, quarterback transfer Davis Webb, who led the team to a 51-31 win over Hawaii.
Webb threw for 441 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions, while adding a score on the ground.
“There is still plenty of work to be done, but overall we played a very good game and never let them get back into it,” Dykes said, via USA TODAY Sports.
Cal will now have a week off while they adjust to the time difference after making it back to the United States before returning to action against San Diego State. The Rainbow Harriors, meanwhile, need to regroup and prepare for a tough matchup in Ann Arbor against Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.
