ABC’s popular show “Dancing With The Stars” is entering its 23rd season in just over two weeks and on Tuesday, the new cast was revealed. It is trend to have a few athletes on the show and this time, there is an Olympic feel to it.
Swimmer Ryan Lochte, who was at the center of an international scandal just over a week ago, headlines the cast of athletes this year. Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez will also join the cast of 13 celebrities.
Among the non-athletes this year are rapper Vanilla Ice, model Amber Rose and female actor Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia on “The Brady Bunch.” It should be a fun season when they take to the dance floor on Monday, Sept. 12.
