Louisville football: Cardinals nameplates create hilarious coincidence

The Louisville Cardinals are already dominating the Charlotte 49ers in the second quarter of their season opener. It looks like they could have gotten some inspiration from one of the toughest action movie stars of all time.

Wide receiver Trevon Samuel and quarterback Lamar Jackson, whose jersey nameplate reads “L. Jackson,” were sitting next to each other on the bench and someone with ESPN saw their opportunity. They got a close up of their jerseys and caused people everywhere to screenshot it and send a tweet out to Samuel L. Jackson.

This is a pretty awesome coincidence and you only hope that the movie star sees it and retweets it out. I think if you are going to channel the spirit of an action movie star, Samuel L. Jackson is one to emulate.
