Ray Rice has been out of the NFL since a shocking and disturbing video showing the running back striking his then fiancee, Janay Palmer, now Janay Rice, in the elevator of an Atlantic City casino.
While Rice has been blackballed from the league because of the heinous act, he has been using that experience as a lesson for young players.
This summer, Rice visited Tallahassee to visit the Florida State Seminoles football program.
Rice gave the team a powerful speech, warning them about the consequences of making a poor decision off the field. Rice focused on decision making and consequences, while urging Seminoles players to keep their heads on straight.
Luckily, Showtime had cameras in the locker room for Rice’s speech as they filmed “A Season with Florida State Football” which will premiere next week. In anticipation of the show’s premiere, Showtime released a teaser of Rice’s powerful words.
