Ohio State football assistant trolls SEC after opening weekend

|

Opening weekend of the college football season was a rough one for teams in the SEC. Tennessee struggled with Appalachian State, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri and Kentucky suffered losses, and Arkansas barely survived a scare from Louisiana Tech.

There were some positive signs from the SEC — Alabama’s dominance over USC, Texas A&M’s upset of UCLA and the Georgia Bulldogs victory over UNC — but the overwhelming takeaway was that the conference struggled.

And people noticed.

One person in particular who took notice of the SEC’s struggles was Ohio State wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Zach Smith.

Smith sent out a particular tweet following Wisconsin’s win over LSU that celebrated the win for the Big Ten Conference that trolled the SEC and everyone who touts the conference’s superiority in college football.

B1G!!!!!! 😈😈😈😈#Shhhhh with that Superiority talk…. 😂🙄

Well played.

While the SEC teams struggled, Ohio State rolled over Bowling Green in their season-opener, 77-10. The Buckeyes return to action next weekend against Tulsa.
