Alright, alright, alright. The Texas football team opened its 2016 campaign on Sunday night against No. 10-ranked Notre Dame. Prior to the game, the Longhorns received a motivational boost from one very prominent support.
Actor Matthew McConaughey, a huge Texas football fan, UT alum and even film class teacher at the university, spoke to the team prior to Sunday’s clash at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Judging by the results so far tonight, McConaughey’s pre-game speech provided some extra fire.
The Longhorns currently lead the Fighting Irish, 31-21, in the third quarter.
