The Arkansas Razorbacks just barely skated past the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday as they won a squeaker 21-20. However, they lost a piece of their defense as defensive back Kevin Richardson went down with a pretty serious injury.
Bo Mattingly spoke with head coach Bret Bielema and he announced that Richardson suffered a pretty serious torn pectoral muscle. Because of this injury, he will miss the rest of the 2016 season.

During Saturday’s season opener, Richardson recorded seven tackles and was expected to be a big player for the Razorbacks. He played in all 13 games in 2015, starting five, and was a big part of their team during the season.
The Razorbacks will now need to rely on youth to step up and make a impact for the team the rest of the year. Arkansas takes field against TCU on Saturday at 7 p.m. EST.
