The Texas Tech Red Raiders are 1-0 after a big win over the weekend. To celebrate that and Labor Day, they decided to start practice in a special way by starting WWE Monday Night Raw early with a wrestling match.
The team was gathered around a mock ringside area, blocked off by barricades with a table set up in the middle. One coach came down from the stands and played the heel, calling anybody out until John Cena’s music hit.
An impersonator did a good job with his Cena impression and got the quick upperhand on his opponent. The team went crazy when Cena put his opponent through the table.

That was pretty awesome and it just shows that head coach Kliff Kingsbury is doing a good job to make practice fun for his players. Let’s hope they keep that intensity for the entire season as they face off against Arizona State.
