Panthers vs. Broncos live stream: Watch NFL opener online

The 2016 NFL season is finally here and it begins with the traditional game of the defending Super Bowl champions starting off the season in the lone game in prime time. This year, however, it is slightly different as fans get to see a rematch of Super Bowl 50 with the champion Denver Broncos hosting the Carolina Panthers.

The last time these two teams met, Gary Kubiak’s defense, highlighted by an MVP performance from superstar linebacker Von Miller, ran roughshod on the Cam Newton-led Panthers’ offense.

However, their defense has taken some hits with the loss of defensive tackle Malik Jackson in free agency, so this game should be much more entertaining than the one in February. The Broncos will also have a much different look on offense, with Trevor Siemian taking over for future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

The Panthers will receive a boost on the offensive side of the ball with the return of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin, while they take a hit after losing Josh Norman in the secondary.
