Tim Tebow is set to do some double-duty this season.
On Thursday, it was announced that the former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets. Despite that, Tebow will continue his duties as a college football analyst on the SEC Network.
Tebow, who is trying to make it in the MLB despite not playing baseball since high school, will continue his regularly scheduled appearances on the network while participating in the Mets’ Instructional League.
“Tim is committed to his role at SEC Network and ESPN this fall,” ESPN senior vice president of event and studio production Stephanie Druley said in a statement. “We have always been supportive of Tim’s athletic pursuits. His new schedule will allow him to continue as a college football analyst on SEC Nation this fall.”

Phew, I don’t know what we would have done without our regular dose of Timmy Terrific throughout the football season.
