Florida State S Derwin James carted off field

The Florida State Seminoles are dominating the Charleston Southern Buccaneers right now, but they may have taken a big shot on defense. Star safety Derwin James went down with an apparent injury and had to be carted off the field.

James made a tackle in the second half against the Buccaneers, but he was slow to get up. In fact, he never got back up as he was holding his left knee.

This is certainly not good for the Seminoles as James was set to be the replacement for Jalen Ramsey. He is considered one of the best defensive players in the country, but this could really hurt Florida State.
