The Arizona State Sun Devils and Texas Tech Red Raiders decided to start basketball season a little early Saturday night when they faced off in an offensive shootout. In the 68-55 Sun Devil win, Arizona State running back Kalen Ballage tied an FBS record.
Ballage totaled 185 yards and scored eight total touchdowns in last night’s game, tying the FBS record for most touchdowns in a game. The craziest thing about that stat is the fact that he only had nine total touchdowns entering last night’s game.

It is hard to believe that Ballage won’t continue to make a huge impact for the Sun Devils this year. They are undefeated and face off against UTSA before beginning their run of PAC-12 games.
