Colorado uniform combo same as when they last beat a top 5 team

The Colorado Buffaloes are a surprising 2-0 on the season and they have a big game this weekend. They will travel to play the Michigan Wolverines, who are also 2-0, and the Buffaloes are looking to pull off what would be the biggest upset of the year so far.

The Buffaloes will certainly have the spirit of past Colorado teams behind them when they look to pull off their first win over a top five AP team for the first time since Sept. 24, 1994.

The team announced that they will wear the same uniform combination they wore on that day this weekend yesterday on their Facebook page.

It just so happens that the Michigan Wolverines were the team that the Buffaloes beat in 1994. The game was also played in Ann Arbor, so it just seems like the stage could be set for a beautiful and massive win for the Buffaloes.

While unlikely, Colorado have outscored their two opponents 100-14 in their first two games.

Quarterback Sefo Liufau will have to be on point as he has in the first two games, which have saw him throw for 322 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 120 yards and another score.

The Buffaloes and Wolverines meet up at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday with the game airing on Big Ten Network.
