Seahawks ‘confident’ QB Russell Wilson will be ready for Sunday

During Sunday’s season opener against the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson went down with an ankle injury which seemed to be significant at the time. H

owever, it doesn’t seem like the team is too worried about his status when it comes to this weekend.

Wilson is looking to return to form after he struggled against the Dolphins’ secondary. The Seahawks did move Jake Heaps to the active roster while looking to get Wilson healthy, Mike Garafolo reports.

In Sunday’s 12-10 win over the Dolphins, Russell Wilson threw for 258 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

The Seahawks face off against NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams, who are coming off an embarrassing 28-0 loss against the San Francisco 49ers Monday night.
