Michigan State football commit Darien Clemons had his senior year of high school football cut short earlier this month when he suffered a torn ACL. It had to be a devastating injury for the senior Ohio native, but the Spartans coaching staff is doing their best to make sure he remains in high spirits.
Clemons took to Twitter this week to share a get well letter he received from the program which included hand-written notes from a number of the coaches on staff.
The letter was accompanied by a message from Clemons which read, “commitment goes both ways at MSU,” seemingly indicating he is appreciative that Michigan State is staying committed to him despite the serious injury.

It’s not the way Clemons would have liked his senior season to play out, but the three-star recruit has to be happy to know he committed to a program that will have his back even in the toughest of times.
We’d like to wish Darien a full and speedy recovery and cannot wait to see what he does on the field when he arrives in East Lansing.
