Devin Booker does not like Kentucky’s new uniforms

Devin Booker is one of the better players to come out of Kentucky in the last few years and during his time with the team, they had some pretty cool uniforms. However, it doesn’t seem like he enjoys the team’s new look.

The team revealed slight changes to their jerseys on Thursday when they had a photoshoot with the incoming freshmen. The jerseys are skinnier at the shoulders than usual and have more checkered pattern on the ribcage, which probably contributes to Booker disapproving of the uniforms.

He didn’t really give a reason for his thumbs down on the jerseys, but when you are as good as Booker was during his career at Kentucky, you don’t really need a reason.

I don’t think fans will care much about what the jerseys look like if the Wildcats go out and make a statement during the 2016-17 season. With the second-ranked recruiting class in the country, that shouldn’t be too hard.

The Wildcats open the season on Nov. 11 against fellow 2016 NCAA Tournament team Stephen F. Austin.
