While the Florida State Seminoles have lost a number of players on the defensive side of the ball, including Josh Sweat and Derwin James, they have gotten a few pieces back for their offense. Two offensive linemen and a fullback have been cleared to play this weekend. They will all be back to play against the Louisville Cardinals Saturday.
In the team’s official injury report released Thursday, it was revealed that left guard Kareem Are and right guard Wilson Bell have returned to full strength after they dealt with ankle and concussion problems respectively. They will also get fullback Freddie Stevenson back on the field this week.
Having Stevenson back on the field is big for the team as he has been considered “a security blanket” for the Seminoles. He is a large target out of the backfield as he has recorded 154 yards and a touchdown on 18 receptions in three seasons.
The Seminoles take the field against the Cardinals on Saturday at 12 noon EST on ABC.
