Florida State football: Seminoles return 3 starters vs. Louisville

The Florida State football program will have to go the next month and a half without star safety Derwin James, but the Seminoles received some positive news ahead of this weekend’s top ten clash against the Louisville Cardinals.

While James’ injury was a setback, the Seminoles will be returning three other starters to the lineup for today’s big game, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

The three returning starters could all make a strong impact in the running game as star rusher Dalvin Cook looks to get things going and carry the team to victory.

The returning starters are junior guard Wilson Bell and redshirt senior guard Kareem Are, while leading fullback Freddie Stevenson also returns to the team. Bell and Stevenson missed time with ankle injuries. Are, meanwhile, was recovering from a concussion.

Will this help the Seminoles to victory and open holes for Cook?

We will find out in a matter of hours when the two teams go head-to-head at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium with kickoff scheduled for noon.
