The Indiana Hoosiers are 2-0 and are looking to continue their undefeated run in Week 4. It looks like they will be without a member of their offensive depth chart going forward after true freshman wide receiver Kiante Enis was arrested.
It was reported that Enis, a three-star member of the Hoosiers’ 2016 recruiting class, was arrested and charged with child molestation after he admitted “to a consensual sexual encounter that occurred on at least two occasions” that involved “a child 13 years or younger.” The report states that he could face up to 16 years in prison for this despicable crime.
The Hoosiers wasted little time in responding to Enis’s arrest. Greg Rakestraw of 107.5 FM in Indianapolis reported that the team had announced his dismissal not long after reports of his arrest came out.
Full length statement from #IUFB in a release: "Indiana Football has dismissed freshman Kiante Enis from the program effective immediately."

During his senior year as a running back at Winchester Community High School, Enis rushed for 2,393 yards and 35 touchdowns. He originally was a verbal commit to Michigan, but flipped to Indiana when he signed.
The Hoosiers face off against Wake Forest on Saturday.
